A Magical Bank Holiday Weekend: Enchanting Fairy House Workshop

On Saturday 24th May, we hosted guest artist, Aisha Mullins, from Whimwood Forrest to show individuals how to make their very own fairy house.

The day started with lots of socialising, chatting and cups of tea. Individuals were welcomed by Aisha and the team at Just Begin. Each participant began by following Aisha's instructions to build the base of their fairy house.

After light refreshments and a short break, the group continued to shape and mould their fairy houses and add fine details like a door, windows, grass and water to make their house inviting and magical.

The group were provided a lovely spread of homemade food for lunch including freshly baked focaccia, homemade quiche, sausage rolls, freshly prepared salad and Eton mess for dessert.

Once the fairy houses were baked, they were then left to cool. Aisha then added felt to the bottom of each house and delicately boxed up each creation for taking home.

It was fantastic to see so many new and familiar faces join us for this workshop!
